Calendar attachments

Ivanti Email+ now supports attachments for the Calendar events. This feature is supported for the following:

• Primary email accounts

• Additional email accounts

• Delegated calendar

• Shared calendar

Configure the following to enable calendar attachment:

EAS16: Primary and Secondary accounts

EWS: Delegated and Shared Calendars

You don’t need to set up both EAS16 and EWS together as they can be enabled separately.

If EAS16 is added to Disabled Features, attachments are disabled only for Primary and Secondary accounts.

Configure EWS to use Delegated or Shared calendar features.

You can add, remove, and view attachments in both single and recurring calendar events. Different file formats such as documents, images, and zip archives are supported.

You can select and upload multiple files as an attachment to your events. There is no restriction on the number of files attached but it should not exceed the size that is configured as per the Max attachment size (MB) restriction.

An Attachment size warning dialog box is displayed if the max attachment size is exceeded.

The attachments are synced with the calendar event when the invite is sent. You can add attachments in offline mode; it will automatically sync when the device is online.

Adding files to calendar events

Procedure 

To attach files to your calendar events, follow these steps:

1. In the Email+ app, go to Calendar > New Event.

2. Enter Event Name.

3. Click Add Attachments.

4. Browse for the file you want to attach and select it.

5. Under Add Attachments, selected files are displayed.

6. Click Save to create the calendar event with the attachment.

Viewing and editing event details

Procedure 

To view and edit the details of an event, follow these steps:

1. In the Email+ app, go to Calendar tab. A list of saved events is displayed.

2. Select the event you want to view. The View Event page is displayed.

3. Click Edit to modify the event.
